Approved by the Quality, Safety, and Environmental Protection Committee on 11/6/2003. 

CBO’s objective is to provide quality services in the maritime support navigation industry, on conditions that ensure safety and prevent environmental pollution. 

To achieve this objective, CBO’s board has committed itself to the adoption of the following Quality, Safety, and Environmental Protection Policy, applicable at all levels of the company, whether at sea or on land:

     
 

1 - To treat the Quality of our activities, Safety, and the Prevention of Environmental Pollution as a shared responsibility. 		 
     
     
 

2 - To provide safe operating conditions on board, so as to ensure the Safety of human life, property, and environmental protection, while identifying any risks and establishing procedures to minimize them.

 		 
     
     
 

3 - To continually strive to provide satisfaction to clients inside and outside the company. 		 
     
     
 

4 - To evaluate the effects of our activities, taking the necessary measures to prevent or minimize any environmental impact and in this way enabling a review of the Objectives and Goals of the Integrated Management System (Sistema Integrado de Gestão - SIG). 		 
     
     
 

5 - To assure the fulfillment of the legislation, rules, and regulations witch are applicable to the company's activities. 		 
     
     
 

6 - To continually improve the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System, while using operational efficiency as a way for increasing profits. 		 
     
     
 

7 - To invest in employees by offering them opportunities for technical, professional, and social growth. 		 
     
     
 

8 - To continuously develop partnerships with clients and suppliers, while making them aware of the requirements related in the SIG. 		 
     
     
 

9 - To work jointly with the community on social projects and activities.
